Best Advent Bible Studies for Women 2026: An Honest Comparison
Advent studies sell out early and December arrives fast, so here is a plain guide to the well-loved options for women this year, what each one is like, and how to pick. One of the studies below is ours; we say so clearly, and we will tell you honestly who the others are better for.
How to choose in 60 seconds
- How much time do you actually have daily? Be honest about December. Studies range from 5 minutes to 30+.
- Alone or with a group? If a group, check whether the study offers leader material and whether printing for the group is licensed.
- Print or phone? Some women love a printed book in the mail; others want a PDF today on a tablet.
- Study or devotional? A study asks you to open the passage and answer questions. A devotional reads to you. Both are good; they are different.

What makes ours different (and who should not buy it)
Full disclosure: The Women of Advent is made by Lily, the people behind this site. Here is the honest version of why it exists. Most Advent materials for women are devotionals: warm readings about the season. We wanted an inductive study, one that puts the passage in front of you and asks you to notice what it actually says, that still fits inside ten minutes and a school-run life. Every Bible quote in it is machine-checked word for word against the Berean Standard Bible, the commentary was independently reviewed line by line for staying inside what the text says, and the study never promises you outcomes God has not promised.
And who should not buy it? If you want a hardcover book on your shelf, order from The Daily Grace Co. If what you really want is to be read to each morning, a devotional will serve you better than a study. If your group needs video teaching sessions, Lifeway is built for that.

When to start
Advent 2026 begins Sunday, November 29. A 4-week study started that week lands its final week at Christmas. Leaders usually pick materials in September or October, and print-at-home studies are the safety net if December has already arrived and the books are sold out.
